throughout the years, richard has been assigned
many different personalities in the rammstein fandom. from the all-too-well-known
"fluffy bunny" lover of behind closed doors fame, to the "ego" as the famous
juliet bravo calls him. i have come here today to present, with pictoral
evidence, what i have come to call the "diva stance"
i love the man, don't get me wrong, but sometimes there's so much attitude in his photos it's almost palpable
several criteria define the "diva stance." if any combination of the following
are present, you've got the DS:
1) at least one hand placed on hip with elbow bent back*
2) said hip stuck out, accentuating rear end
3) knee opposite said hip bent slightly
4) feet set apart, but not too far apart
5) in many cases an expression of boredom or displeasure will accompany the
stance
* in some cases the arms are crossed allowing for a more "pissed off"
look
after minutes upon minutes of grueling research, i have compiled a collection
of photos that document the DS. observe...
here we have 4 of the basic criteria. notice the none-too-pleased look; the
crossed arms; the bent knee; and the sticking out of the hip.
not quite as blantant as the previous picture, yet the "hand on hip" is still
present. also take notice of the face.
here we have the bent knee; the hand on hip; as well as the sticking out
of said hip.
observe the bent knee; the bent elbow; and the look of displeasure.
one of the less obvious DS photos, but upon close inspection, the bent knee
can be seen clearly.
here we have a perfect example of the "pissed off" incarnation of the DS.
note the crossed arms and highly dissatisfied expression.
this is probably the best known evidence of the DS. this image has it all:
hands on both hips; accentuated rear end; the bent knee; perfect placement
of the feet; and that look that says "this photoshoot is so boring and i am a sexy beast"
the DS has even begun to rub off on other members of the band. here we have
an innocent picture of till, unwittingly striking a pose, a la DS style!
however, i must say richard pulls off the DS much better (sorry till fans)
there you have it. irrefutable PROOF that the DS is not just a figment of
an overactive imagination. it is, in fact, real!
